Default Changing line of sight for agents/cities etc.

    Hello, new to the forums.

A search didn't reveal any conclusive answers so I'll ask here:

I feel like the standard line of sight ranges don't give enough information. I'm looking for a medium between the default and toggle_fow.

Is it possible to change the line of sight range for cities/agents etc?

I do like that with toggle_fow you can see how owners change owners over time. Anyway to simulate this?

For buildings, watchtowers i don't know but there is for characters with the attribute(traits).
Can increase max upto 25% i think so.
Make the trait global and automatic and put it as hidden attrib.

All agents (i.e. diplomats, spys, assassins, merchants, and princesses) all have default traits they get when they are created, alter these default traits with the LineOfSight attribute.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll read up on setting up that trait properly.

You could fake it by putting an invisible agent on the same location and have it have a larger line of sight. I'm not sure how you'd make sure the agent was on the correct spot, but it would be easy for fixed position watchtowers/forts placed at the beginning of a campaign.

If you're using a spare faction with the "destructible" preplaced forts in a mod, why not have that frozen faction spawn spies or the like in settlements to extend the line of sight? I am definitely going to do this, but I'm curious as to how far the LOS of settlements, forts and watchtowers are...
