How different is NTW engine from ETW ?

How different are they ? Would be possible for example import NTW lan multiplayer campaign into ETW ? Because theoretically it should but i dont know THAT much about modding so i understand if thats just scifi

The engine is the same, but the code is sufficiently different that they aren't compatible. It's like Rome and Medieval 2, they were on the same engine, but not really compatible with each other.
