Battle Replays In Campaign

Hey-

Curious about 2 things

1) Why are we not able to replay and save battles from our campaign games? It's great to be able to do that in custom battles, but let's face it...the battles in the campaign are the ones in which I actually have something on the line...I'd like to save and watch some of my better ones.

2) Does anyone know of a mod or a trick that would allow me to save and replay those battles?

1)Not possible because CA didn't implement the feature.

2)No. There is no such thing, nor is it possible. It's a hardcode issue. CA pointed out that they couldn't implement the feature into an expansion pack or a patch because the process is too complicated and time consuming. Basically I think they said that if they wanted to implement such a feature, they would have to rebuild RTW from scratch.

But they might include such a feature in MTW II....maybe....hopefully.

Because CA didn't implement it for RTW for some reason.
I'm not sure but maybe you could use FRAPS.

I don't use it for RTW myself so I can't say whether it's viable.
