Charge Stats question...
I was just wondering if there is a major difference in the way the charge stats work in M2TW as opposed to RTW...
for example... cataphract type cavalry in EB1 have a charge of up to 44 if i remember correctly... but most mods i see for M2TW have maybe a charge of 12, which seems low because by then i image stirrups and other improvements for mounted warriors exist...
just wondering if anyone can answer this... rather ask it here than elsewhere since this is the mod i'm most looking forward to besides RTR 7.

M2TW has horribly unbalanced cavalry for reasons I can't find out - the only thing I can deduce is that you have to keep lance attack values low, and can't have charge too high.
All I can say is that we will fix the balance problem.

Mass of units involved seems the most important value in MTW2 charges though lance type and actual charge stat also make some differences. If you charge the back of a high mass unit with a low mass unit the charging unit will often fly into the air or rebound. It looks really funny and seems unrealistic. Sure there are mass differences between units, but not to that extent. Its not trucks vs golf carts rally cars.
