Default Is it possible to change unit mass?

well, I recently played SS 6.3...and was impressed by the cavalry charge in that mod.
I heard the biggest difference between SS and other mod is the mass

And now I want to apply the same effect to units in TATW, but I can't find where is the mass setting. I did use search, but came out a lot of other articles.

Does anyone knows which file has the mass setting?

Yes you can actually, if you look at the better cavalry mod you can see how to change the mass of units. Be in mind that if you change the mass of units it will make them hit harder and fall harder as they smash into the enemy. Mass only applies to cavalry type units by the way. Hope this helps.
    Sincerely

Mass also applies to foot units.

if you go into the 'descr_mount' file (found in your 'data' folder) you'll come across something like this:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    type barded horse ;;;;;Swan Knights
    class horse
    model Mount_Barded_Horse
    radius 1.2
    x_radius 0.5
    y_offset 0.7
    height 2.5
    mass 3.25
    banner_height 0
    bouyancy_offset 1.8
    water_trail_effect horse_water_trail
    root_node_height 1.0
    ;rider_offset 0.0, 0.45, 0.35
    rider_offset 0.0, 0.38, 0.70

you'll want to change this line
    "mass 3.25"

also if you want to change the mass of infantry you can do it by opening up your 'export_descr_unit' file (also in the 'data' folder):

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    type Axemen of Lossarnach
dictionary Axemen_of_Lossarnach ; Axemen of Lossarnach
    category infantry
    class heavy
    voice_type Heavy
    banner faction main_infantry
    banner holy crusade
    soldier Varangian_Guard, 60, 0, 1
    officer gondor_captain_early_flag
    officer gondor_captain_early_flag
    mount_effect horse +1, camel +1, elephant -4
    attributes sea_faring, hide_forest, hardy, can_withdraw, free_upkeep_unit
    formation 1.2, 1.2, 2.4, 2.4, 4, square
    stat_health 1, 3
    stat_pri 8, 6, no, 0, 0, melee, melee_blade, slashing, axe, 50, 1
    stat_pri_attr ap
    stat_sec 0, 0, no, 0, 0, no, melee_simple, blunt, none, 0, 1
    stat_sec_attr no
    stat_pri_armour 6, 4, 0, metal
    stat_sec_armour 0, 0, flesh
    stat_heat 2
    stat_ground 0, -1, 0, -2
    stat_mental 12, normal, trained
    stat_charge_dist 15
    stat_fire_delay 0
    stat_food 60, 300
    stat_cost 1, 470, 200, 75, 75, 470, 3, 150
    armour_ug_levels 1, 2
    armour_ug_models lossarnach, lossarnach_ug1
    ownership sicily
    era 0 sicily
    era 1 sicily
    era 2 sicily
    recruit_priority_offset 5

you'll want to change the line:
    "soldier Varangian_Guard, 60, 0, 1"

the third number (the highlighted one) is the mass of the unit - don't change the other two values as they control something else

I hope I've answered your question
