    Default Roman Re-Enactment groups

Hey guys! Guess what? I am now officially a Roman Re-enactor. I have joined LEGIO VI FERRATA FIDELIS CONSTANS in Charleston, South Carolina

Also we are partnered with LEGIO XI CLAUDIA PIA FIDELIS who are based in Athens, Georgia

So now I have to buy 1500 dollars of equipment...

So how does that sound. I can give you an Idea of what re-enacting is like once I've gone to their next event.

    Re-enactment is fun.
I've done ACW, Dark Ages and Late Roman re-enactment.
I'm now a bit old for that malarky and tend just to hang around the beer tents with the guys reminising about the old days.

Please post here only if the re-enactment is of the period covered in this mod - otherwise post in the appropriate forum, social or otherwise! We don't want newcomers to this mod confused about period details and asking for lorica segmentata again! And good luck!

Good one SBH! Last thing we need here are fans of famous "Barbarians I & II" series from the history channel telling us that they saw 5th century roman reenactors wearing lorica segmentata, red capes, helmets with crests and sandals in winter on the rhine frontier.

    Well let's get things straight:

1 - we do 1st century AD, I know that
2 - I have never found a single late roman Re-enactment group in the US.
3 - I won't post stuff here that isn't relevant, I just though y'all might find it interesting to know I joined one. If you wanna know anything simply pm me.
4 - And in SC they don't permit us to do actual "fights" anymore except in the gladiator events who are a different group and have specific guidelines.

I never said you have to kill people. I said killing is realistic.
