Economics in EB2
Hi there! One of the things I loved about EB was how deep and important the economic system was, and how concentrating on it can help greatly later in the game. For instance I was always a fan of the Casse, and I would spend most of my time having fun building up their economy.
So I was wondering how much the economic system is changing with EB2. Are merchants gonna be in? Is the system gonna as deep and important as the original?

Re: Economics in EB2
Last indications I read were that merchants are not likely to be included. The trade income will rely on trade buildings and for some historically rich areas special provincial buildings. I personally like using the merchants and the competition is fun but if the additional trade income of Pontus can be modeled without merchants than I think its ok decision. I am more curious about client kingdoms etc... how large a penalty to income or change will occur there compared to a faction owned/controlled region.
