RTR 6.0 Crash

Hi! I'm having some problems with the RTR Platinium 6.0
When I start it crashes! And it's the same thing with the gold vrs.

Can you help me out?
I have every patch installed and a Clean RTW dyrectory just for the mod.

First things first - you can either have RTR 6.0 or RTR Platinum. They are two very similar, but separate mods. From what I recall RTR 6.0 runs on the Rome 1.2 engine, and Platinum runs on Rome 1.5 and BI 1.6. Don't take that as gospel though - it's been quite some time since I've played either of them.

Still, if you have every patch installed then of those two you should use Platinum.

Try deleting the map.rwm to see if that helps?

Or you could try starting a new install from scratch with only Platinum installed and see if you have better luck?

I'm no good at CTD hunting, I just find it helpful to be extremely methodical in my approach when I install any mod to minimise the points of failure.

The newest version of RTR are the VII series, with the latest release being RTR VII: Fate of Empires. For more info you could look in the thread ''all you need to know'' that is stickied on the main forum. It's definitely worth a try if you like inovative gameplay!

I meant in the same install. Because each runs on a different version of the engine

Or if you want to play something which covers the same territories as Platinum and Gold but with enhanced gameplay you could try out ExRM /shameless plug
