Default Number of Soldiers in each unit.

    Hey guys.
I want to make my M2TW more realistic. But i dont know how.
For example: Cavalry units have only 40 soldiers. I want it with more than 100 soldiers.
    How i do that ?
Or if there is a tool to do that.

    Take a look at Mythic_Commodore's - A Beginner's Guide to Export_Descr_Unit tutorial.
Considering your questiong, this section should especially be of interest to you:

soldier – This is the first line with multiple values. They are all separated by commas and do different things. The first value (Swiss_Pikemen, 60, 0, 1) is the soldier "skeleton" to use. This references an entry in the battle_models.modelsdb file, which determines how the unit moves around. Changing this to a different entry will change the look (that is to say, the way the unit moves, swings its weapon, etc.) The second value (Swiss_Pikemen, 60, 0, 1) is the number of men in the unit. This is affected by your size settings. The smallest possible is 4, while the largest is 100. The third value (Swiss_Pikemen, 60, 0, 1) is used only with units with “extras” such as siege equipment. It tells the game how many of those to have. Here is an example from the Trebuchet line
    Enjoy modding

Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts.

I tried to edit but each time i edit a single number and play, the game crash, or the units die when the battle starts.
There is a Tool to select an unit and edit it ?

olivermanbr: I think the number of men in a unit needs to be between 4 and 100.
    Code:
    soldier Swiss_Pikemen, 4, 0, 1
    Code:
    soldier Swiss_Pikemen, 100, 0, 1

Well i tried exactly the same thing, but the game crash.
I'm using the mod The Long Road (cause a difference ?)
And am I editing the wrong file ?
    C:\Arquivos de programas\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\The_Long_Road\data and export_descr_unit
    (Program Files)

    The units are like this:

    Code:
     Dismounted_Noble_Knights, 48, 0, 0.55
    Code:
     Teutonic_Knights, 24, 0, 0.55
I want exactly like the SPQR MOD to Rome Total War, huge battles with 160 soldiers on cavalry, 262 on infantry, and 150 on Archers.

    Ishan: I'll try it.

Long Road as i remember is a vanilla mod not kingdoms based and i think kingdoms only supports 100 thingy.
    Not sure about it though.

    Dismounted_Noble_Knights, 80, 0, 0.55
should give you 100, I think, give it try.
