    Default Save loading issues

    I apologize if this has been discussed, I searched and couldn't find this particular issue.

    I had a game going under 1.2. Same old story, got BI and save wouldn't load. Then I got a NEW system, installed Rome and tried to load the save w/ 1.2, 1.1, even unpatched. Same deal; either returns to the main menu or crash. Tried other saves from that same game as well.

    Any thoughts? I was about to follow through and actually finish the game this time.

    WOW, now I can't even start a campaign!? This is truly bizarre. Got "Script error line 38 colum 1. Must be at least 2 factions in the world"

    I hadn't even messed w/ my dscr file

    Have you tried the RomeSage which let's you edit your saved game?

    Also, moving from 1.2 to BI, all saved games are incompatible.

    I'm afraid that you will have to start a new campaign. If you want no errors and a perfectly clean install of RTW/BI do this:
