Another option would be to withdraw from Syracuse destroy everything of worth and get your ships there ASAP to extract your troops, your better off focusing on Greece, I did this and by the time the brutti decided to come play they had shock because Macedonia was gone so I started on the Romans and wiped the Brutti out!

Pinky: "Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"
The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world!"

My tactics payed off, though I'm evacuated Byzantium first, and the Brutii almost taken TSalonica, in the end i was able hold them. After that in the counter attack, my Syracuse force took Messana, Croton and Tarentum, and liberated Greece except for Apollonia. Meanwhile the campaign doesn't seem to be over, Pontus growed capturing Tarsus, Ancyra, Nicomedia, Sardis and Halicarnassus, trying to take Pergamum. I pumped 20000 in 10 turns to the Seleucids but they declining fast, only Damascus and the beseiged Antioch left in control. I now prepare forces for a Greek crusade to take back Antioch, Seleucia and Alexandria, though i don't know how should i deploy them, on sea to win a battle is too expensive, and hostile navies rule a Aegean Sea.

Did you recognize that all greek family members become transsexual when they govern a city with a shrine. All of them are priestess of Nike and Athena...
I had a general, who didn't have a wife in his 52th year he was priestess of Athena, and then a wife turned up when he adopted a 21 yr old...

I almost to forgot to mention my brand new tactics spreading plague in Europe with spies

I found them quiet easy. Use most of your Syracusan garrison + some mercenaries to push the Romans out of Sicily, and do the same thing for the Antigonids in the Peloponessus. Then you should attack Macedon and Carthage. You should also try to get a slice of the Seleucid pie before the Ptolemies beat you to it.

You are right about being aggressive but you could be more aggressive.
The Greeks are the easiest faction to win with if you have the right mindset.
Playing as the Greeks is like starting with three factions (Syracuse, Thermon/Sparta, Rhodes/Pergamum).

This is a ing necro if I ever saw one. ;p

Nothing against necro-ing personally, but it might be a violation of the TWC rules (I am not sure).

    I just thought I'd give you a heads-up.
