    Default Rome on Windows 7

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for a while now but this is my first time posting.

Previously I've always played Rome on Windows XP and it's always worked fine, but I just recently got a new laptop with Windows 7 and was wondering if it still played ok. I know there were some issues with Vista, but I think that was more to do with modding.

Will I still be able to play Rome on this PC or will I have to use the old one, and is it possible to use mods and such if I can play Rome, or will I be stuck with vanilla?

    Thanks

Rome works fine on my Windows 7, so it should work for you.

I can play vanilla Rome and the Europa Barbarorum mod on my Win7 desktop.
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

No probs here so far (touch wood) on 32 or 64 bit Win7 systems with Rome and the expansions. Good luck & Happy Gaming
