    Default increasing siege tower flammability

    How do I increase the chance that siege towers will catch on fire from flaming projectiles, such as arrows, ballista bolts, and other flaming things? I fooled around in the descr_engines.txt file, increasing the engine_ignition line for all siege tower engines to 0.45 from 0.15, but it didn't seem to make a difference. What am I doing wrong?

    Should work imo try to increase it more so that you can confirm that this is the right line you are editing.

    Yeah I'm modding the wrong line or even the wrong file. (maybe) So do you know what I do have to edit?

    Your not doing anything wrong, mine is set at 0.15 and it doesn't seem to ignite that often. Try lowering it more if you like. You are going in the right direction for it to ignite easier, lowering the number.

    so making the number higher increases the chance that it will ignite?

    No, the smaller the number the greater the chance it will ignite.
