Idea for a mod... create your own kingdom

something i've thought about before and i think it would be cool if someone could set up a system where you import an icon for your fraction flag choice some provences and select the troops you wish to train as your nation and start

again would be cool if one of the larger mods could pick this idea up e.g SS and Thera ext.

I like the concept, but its easy enough to change the faction name and icon yourself really.

Thanks CK for explaining it, +rep.
By default every faction has as we know one symbol, fixed amounts of units and fixed starting positions with settlements.

Now making it more flexible means like a 3-4 months work and with an external setup program.
Way too much work, hectic and very heavy to download so not worth it.

Not really hard just the position of where you play and the name of the faction and so on. You then build certain buildings which basically suggest what soldiers you will use. Like Baktria in Rome Total War.

Changing it for one faction is not more than a ½ hour work but read the randomness that i have mentioned that is a lot i'm considering it for the entire game.

thanks for the imput, i was just considering and thought i would share the idea.
the way i was thinking about it was, e.g
if you wanted to play as Ireland or maybe even a german city stat like Bohemia
which i'm sure people have wished to do in the past, with their fravourite mod.

You can always play as the Rebel faction and let the other factions take those parts of the world you don't want
