Since you've, obviously, access to the internet, why not patch your game to 1.3?
After that being done, you can use the unpacker and modify your files

No wait.
you don't patch it with 1.1 that's crap.

You patch it with v1.2 and then with v1.3 and that's it.
After that unpack the game and edit the expanded.txt file in the text folder and rename your faction.
