How to declare Crusade on Novgorod?

I'm playing TO vh.vh / savage ai..

Please, how do I modify to be able to declare Crusade on Novgorod? (or if you're kind enough just post the edited file)

Sorry, it's just getting on my nerves.

I tried to lure Novgorod into a weak settlement, and before they attack, I give the region to the Papal States.
So, after Novgorod captured the settlement, I can't find Novgorod's banner / faction symbol.

Guess I'll never play TO anymore. Too bad dismounted Ritterbruder are one of a hell bad ass units in Europe, whole world perhaps.

How do I transfer Ritterbruders on Jerusalem/crusader states? is the modifying stuff complicated?

Is it also hardcoded to change the maximum armor CrusaderStates can get? I mean is it possible that Jerusalem can have the plate/gothic armor western Europe have?

You could also change Novgorod to Catholic/Muslim/Pagan. And then add the crusade resource to some of the cities.

i doubt you can do it and affect your current campaign. Not sure tho.

Kind of funny that you can crusade against other Catholics, but not the Orthodox countries.

I tried it for the TATW elves, and it worked (IIRC).
