Slaying the mighty Elephants

Went in the lobby for Med II today and decided to host a game. I allowed elephants two max and arty two max as well.

It was a two vs. two battle, I picked the Byzantines and my partner picked Spain. Wild guess what faction our opponents pick, Timurides.

Typical as soon as you say elephants allowed everybody scrambles for the Timurides. The guy across from me bought all elephants and the other guy followed the rules and only bought two.

We played it out and had fun; in this game at least the elephants were defeated. I used fire arrows and it paid off as well as setting my unit up spread out to limit damage by charging elephants.

how many arch did u used? M2TW elephant is a lot harder to run amok with flaming arrows than RTW

nice im surprise you got 2 with just fire arrow...although if you charge in all your kataphractoi that you have, you might finish the guy off sooner

I have not played as much Med II only because I prefer Kingdoms. I got lucky I guess.
