    Default Problem

I have been play XGM I really like it, but I wanted to add the loyalty function. So I uninstalled XGM. Know whenever I try to play the imperial campaign I brings me back to the campaign menu or the regular menu. Any help is much appreciated thanks in advance.

Sounds like something went wrong with the uninstallation. I don't really know everything involved with it, but I would try manually deleting everything in your xgm folder. And you were starting a new campaign right?

Yes. When I uninstalled I deleted the XGM folder and ran the installation again.

Hmm, well when in returns you back to the main menu it means the game ran into a problem with generating the map. If you don't have the most recent version maybe try getting that?

    Extended Greek Mod version 5.9.16

It says I have the latest version in the mod folder.

Sounds a lot like the problem people were having with the virtual store (a feature of Vista and Windows 7). I added a fix recently to deal with that but it seems the fix is only working for some people. You can solve the problem by installing RTW somewhere outside of your Program Files folder.

Im using Vista atm It worked fine the first time I installed but after i reinstalled it had that problem. Theres a "imperial Campaign" tab in the provincial campaign menu now for some reason. I just started playing and so far its the same as the reg campaign.

EDIT: Also I would like to say thank you for adding an a Steam install option for us Steam users. Its quite hard to get a mod to work if your using Steam.

The problem with Vista is that it hides copies of files in strange places. Then when you delete a file and try to use a new version, Vista keeps using the old hidden copy. That is why XGM worked fine the first time, but failed when you reinstalled it. All those old files that Vista squirrelled away are interfering with the new install. If you are using steam that might explain why the fix I added a couple of version back is not working; steam has its own problems with the Vista virtual store.

Try this: Right click on the shortcut for XGM and select "Run as Administrator".
