    Default Ka'aba in Paris? 6.2,RR/RC

I just realized the Ka'aba (most holy place for muslims) is in .. Paris?

That is just wrong - the Ka'aba is not something you just construct in a city, it's an ancient site in the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Paris was the target of a crusade once, perhaps that triggered it somehow?

We need something to work of - save, options, submods etc would be splendid.

Upload it where? I would prefer not having to establish some kind of upload account just for this, it's a file 4000 kb in size ..

Ok, here we go, I present to thee the holiest of holies, the pilgrimage center of the muslim world, destination of pilgrimage and focal point of 5 billion prayers per day - in the middle of Paris:

Something is wrong with your game files, are you sure you're using the Real Recruitment/Real Combat submod created by Point Blank?

    Are you using additional submods?

Have you edited any files yourself?

The fact you're having this problem would probably also be a good indicator of why you're getting so many "Mean" governors you posted about in your thread. Your files are corrupt or simply part of another submod you are using.

The easiest way to fix these problems is a total uninstall then install of SS 6.2 followed by the Aug 13 RR/RC compilation posted in this forum.

Also, if you are, make sure to mention if you are using the 2010 version or the 2009. Looks more like '09 but I'm not good at guessing mod versions from the interface.

Might be the easiest way but only if you are in fact using the current version, else your saves will become invalid.

To be honest I can't remember.. it's a long time since I installed and set it up, and I remember it was quite difficult (as a complete beginner) to work my way through the many threads, FAQ's etc. to install it correctly.

    Are you using additional submods?
No. It's my first go with SS, so I thought I would see how the basic version was before adding anything.

Have you edited any files yourself?
Only a single file to remove the acknowledgement sounds when I select my units.

I think actually the 'mean governors' are due to my cities being under siege constantly. Since there's an endless money-bonus for the AI, they can afford churning out hordes of armies, no matter how many I kill, they just keep on coming. Bit of a chore really, I'm thinking to go back to vanilla (gasp!) because of it

You are probably right, might try something along those lines when I finish my current campaign.

So all you are using is SS? Then you are posting in the wrong forums, because this is the Real Recruitment Real Combat submod forum. This forum is for a very specific downloaded submod and installation that goes on top of SS.

Considering the unchecked Muslim immigration into Europe, I don't find this screenshot that weird.

Just remove some of the AI money bonuses.
