A very old problem

After about two months, I decided to fire up Kingdoms. It wouldn't run, claiming my mss32.dll was missing (which I had downloaded months ago and it worked just fine), so I decided to play Medieval 2. Same thing. So, I tried to fix it, it wouldn't work, so I decided to reinstall the game.

Medieval 2 works, but only a black screen pops up when I started Kingdoms which CTD immediately. How do I fix it?

Any message before the black screen? Otherwise, if Medieval2 works, then reinstall Kingdoms is the the only option I know.

It sounds like the old CA libs one of which means you have to reinstall it.
