Weird game menu - no walking peoples in screen

When I started Medieval 2,even KIngdoms.At the menu there is no man moving behind it..like usually there always man walking slowly behind..I did not made any changes at all,but I installed SS 6.3 yesterday.Is that the problem ?

Yeah SS does that as it clears the cache and changes some settings in the .cfg file.

Just delete the medieval2.preference.cfg file in your main medieval 2 directory and it will regenerate and problem fixed.
