Yes, there are those stupid
tards out there. If you play a song backwards, it's gonna sound weird and you can pretty much make it seem like there's messages hidden in it.
Like those people that tried to sue Judas Priest because they thought the song "Better By You, Better Than Me" had subliminal messages about suicide, and two dumbasses got drunk/high and tried to off themselves. Not to mention it was aing cover song.
Oh well, people are stupid.
However, some bands intentionally have things recorded backwards, like Slayer's Hell Awaits (them saying "Join Us" when played in reverse.

Yeah most metal music has nothing to do with Satan worship and what thee is isn't really on a serious note. Only the occasional Black metal band you really have to worry about.
