More realistic units?
Hi,
I was asking myself if there are any attempts to get more realistic looking units for the Stainless Steel battles. There are some real great units already like the "French Foot Archers" of the High Era with their great looking late 14th century armours but on the other side there are a bit anachronistic units like the mounted and dismounted "English Kingīs Men". I think most of the inappropriate units could be redone quite easy by useing alread existing models and textures. I already tryed to do it myself but failed cause I have got no experience with this stuff, perhaps someone who knows how such things work could help me.
Another question I have is about unit recruitment. Perhaps the Real Recruitment Mod has already solved this problem but is there any possibility to get "old fashioned" units (like Early Era militia with kite shields ore "Mailed Knights") out of the kampagne as it proceeds and replace them with actual units when you reach for example the High Era. When I remember it right Medieval I had different sergeants for every era (of course the two games can not be compared directly^^).
So, I hope this questions havenīt been asked too oftend before and by the way Stainless Steel is one of the greatest mods in the total war series!
Greetings
Martival

Re: More realistic units?
RealRecruitment has solved that problem. As for editing existing units, I suggest you check out the Mod Workshop forums and learn how to make the changes yourself. There are tons of tutorials there and it's not hard.
