    Answer:
    The first time you start a campaign, the game has to create the map. It can take a few minutes depending on the speed of your computer.

    How can I run this mod with the STEAM version of MTW2?

    Answer:
    Simply add the condition @The_Long_Road.cfg in the Steam switch me.

    What it does:
    1. Ensures all names in descr_names.txt are also in names.txt.
    2. Ensures all names in names.txt are also in descr_names_lookup.txt.
    3. Ensures character names in descr_strat.txt are included in descr_names.txt for the correct faction
    4. Ensures surnames in descr_strat.txt are included in descr_names.txt for the correct faction
    5. Ensures female names in descr_strat.txt are included in descr_names.txt for the correct faction
    6. Checks for duplicate names in descr_strat.txt
    7. Checks for names in names.txt not in descr_names.txt
    8. Checks for non-standard characters in names

    How to Use:
    Put the following files in the same directory as name_verifier.exe

    descr_names.txt
    names.txt
    descr_names_lookup.txt
    descr_strat.txt

    Execute.

    Corrected checks of sub_faction named characters
    Version 1.5
    Checks for non-standard characters under Warnings.

    Fixed issue with first names that had spaces

    -Generates a Compacted battle_models.modeldb
    -Generates a Parsed battle_models.modeldb
    -Does Syntax checking on battle_models.modeldb

    How to use:

    Copy the files
    -export_descr_buildings.txt
    -descr_mercenaries.txt
    -descr_sm_factions.txt
    -export_descr_unit.txt
    -battle_models.modeldb
    to the folder where Mod_Tool.exe resides.

    Execute Mod_Tool.exe

    I have no idea what it does or how it works. But that's simply because my programming knowledge calcified along with my brain back in the days of Atari Basic.

    Depends on the settings.

    The RESET button is the one used for default TLR.
