Top left screen when I start m2tw

Heres my problem: When i start m2tw, kingdoms, or broken crescent mod suddenly it only lets me see the top left side of the game. This just recently started. All three worked fine before and im guessing it must have been either mount and blade whitch i just recently bought or the hundred years war mod whitch i also just recently got (and uninstalled) that causedthis to start. Luckily for me i backed up m2tw and kingdoms and the backed up ones work fine still. So what im asking is how can i fix this so i dont have to reinstall broken crescent mod, which i will have to re download.

Please make a screen shot. It looks as if you are running windowed mode.

I dont know how to take/make a screenshot, but Its not windowed theres no bar on the bottom and top of the screen. It looks as if it is full screen only showing the top left of the game. Sorry for my late reply.

Nope. Here is more detail: I start the game, i have the mouse in the middle of the screen. The game starts loading all of a sudden the mouse is now in the bottom left side of the screen and all i see is the top left of the game as if it just zoomed in on the top left for some reason.

Please copy the complete content of your medieval2.configuration.cfg file here (opens with notepad).

I searched for a file of that name in the Medieval 2 total war folder and nothing showed up?

How about medieval2.preferences.cfg?

Delete your .cfg file and it will regenerate with default settings. Try this then we can work on some other angle if it doesn't helps.

Thank you. The game is now normally positioned on the screen again. Now i know what to do if it happens again. And thanks to Gigantus, irishron, and Polecat for trying to help.

Pity you didn't copy the content of your CFG file as I requested - we could have had a look at what precisely caused the error.

Good to hear you got everything working properly again.
