Age old issue

I have the unfortunate issue of being stuck with a 1280x720 monitor, and I've read tons of fixes to combat this, but still I receive that cursed "unspecified error" jargon, so I just want to know if I can cheat and borrow somebody's preference config file that actually is able to play M2 on this evil resolution.

I would've never suspected a monitor of all things to be a game-killing bug.

My only other option is an ancient box monitor that is either unbelievably fuzzy or the 60hz refresh rate makes it so damn jumpy that it kills my head -- a pain I'll take to continue my Reich's glorious march to Eastern domination. Atleast it works on that.

Just thought I'd give this a shot while I get money together to replace my now dead 1440x900. I was hoping this monitor wouldn't warrant it, but I'll be damned if I can go without conquering something.

Now to try Rome!

You should have the old one even switching monitors. It would kick out the game before generating a new one.
