I was wondering if there is a mod out there where the three Roman factions are reduced to just one Juli faction. Nothing else to mod, just that. I would like to start imperial campaign as just Juli.

I'm certain people have attempted it, but it would be tricky with faction and civil war removal unless the modder was talented, and most of the talented just keep going if they're at that level. It would probably be easier to just get one that was built to function that way (RSII, EB, SPQR [romans/senate], etc). Do a few obvious searches in the downloads and see.
XGM is a great mod that doesn't change the RTW engine too much. Same basic stuff. IT also features the Romans as just that.
Passing on to describe the way in which Napoleon employed ‘principles’ or ‘ingredients’ for the prosecution of War, it must from the outset be understood that his strategical and tactical systems followed no closely ruled pattern. Every operation was unique; no two were ever quite the same. However, the underlying every Campaign and battle were certain fundamental, which were applied according to circumstances.

Includes .bat files to switch between senate + 3 houses, senate + julii and julii only. Terrific little mod that balances the game perfectly (Carthage invades Italy, Seleucids defeat Egypt & co, better autocalc, etc).
I would try out XGM as well.XGM is a great mod that doesn't change the RTW engine too much. Same basic stuff. IT also features the Romans as just that.
I made a mod for my own fun , but there are more changes than just removing the other families ( also, I haven't removed the Senate ) .
i used to play with the only 1 roman faction(with the senate left)but when the AI plays as the unified romans they barely conquer they wont invade greece nor carthage altough they might atack the gauls.

Here's a decent Unified Julii Mod:

You start with the normal Julii provinces and rome and capua, the rest are rebel owned. With little effort I modded descr_strat to add the senate back so I can get the missions and offices.
Thanks for your kind comment , SPQR is the reason I thought on making myself a mini-mod . As with the main map , I don't think you thought about the "toggle_fow" kind of map ( when you can see all the movements the other factions make after each turn , cities , etc ) ...
