    Default Thank you SPQR mod

Thanks to all who were part in the making of this great mod, I've enjoyed more than 100+ hours myself playing this mod only and after comparing it to other great mods such as third age and RS2. I can say that none are as enjoyable and satisfying every step of the way. Why you may ask? well it's because of the challenge and the flow of the game, the way the experience drives the player to always challenge himself is something that no other mod has been able to give me. Thanks again and I hope that you guys continue in your endeavors for as long as the series is alive.

Thats what i used to feel like when I played other mods and was a lot better at total war, this mod seems like the only challenge.

Thanks for the new SPQR 8.0 mod LT, really like the new map now, it has not lost any of its flavour (Tabasco I think).

Thanks, I think the new map is great also, sometimes there are more trees than I would like, but overall the battlefields look better. Plus the Campaign map is more accurate than it was before. Overall SPQR 8.0 is solid, I just wish I could have added Judea Faction it would have been a nice addition.

Hello SPQR team, my compliments on such a great mod, I have a few pointers on it though, 1st I found that there is no diplomats when playing the Greek Cities campaign wich I think was no good, and would like to know if there was a way to activate the diplomats, 2nd in battles on very hard it's so easy to win all the time, when the enemy charge my lines and I would have my units in deffensive stance and change them to aggresive stance that it, game over in my favor battle won easy, I think they should have the same ability as well, and from there it should all come down how have better skills and armor.
And third, I was wondering if there was anyway I can switch music with another mod I have, the mod is Res Bellicae, I'll be waiting for you responce.
    Please help

SPQR mod is balanced for Romans only...

SPQR is a Rome based mod, while you can play Other factions, other versions of SPQR would have to be made to give challenge. I suggest playing Rome faction and M/M and see how hard this mod is. Of course there is RS2, EB, and RTR you can play if you wish to do so as other factions.

Awesome mod I have to say, but there is one thing that I dont like. It's loyality. I recruited a general in Capua, gave him the most experienced veteran pre marian units (the best ones I had). He had 0 fights before. I boarded him with a legion into a ship and sent him to deal with cartaginians in Spain. He had 4 fights (2 in a small island near Spain and 2 in Spain). And after 4 fights he rebeled against me with my best pre marian legion. At first I was like OMG WTF. It's kinda odd cuz I have Vibius Julius he had killed countless enemies of Rome and still hasn't rebeled...

Sometimes its random. this was done so one cannot micromanage when a general might rebel. Also that general may have NEVER been loyal and it just took a little time for him to revolt. Thats why I hide loyalty so you deal with the shock when it happens, just like real life. Its not that sometimes an emperor wouldnt know who was disloyal, its the most of the time they DIDNT know who was. SPQR reflects this well, and I find the loyalty well balanced I have been playing for a while and NOT 1 of my Generals have revolted. but it can happen and its easy to forget when it doesnt happen all the time.

Enough questions, if you want to mod the mod go to the modding forum for the help. Most questions on the mod are already answered if people will only do a search.
