    Default Enemy General Slain Animation

So I've searched to no avail here, and to be honest I don't even know if this is the right place to ask. Anyway, here it goes:

I think I installed a mod that edited one of the core files somehow so that it does not show the battle map animation for the enemy general being slain/captured. If anyone has any ideas on how I could fix this, or if they know of a mod that alters this file, could you please enlighten me with that knowledge?

    Thanks in advance!

Find the mod's preferences.cfg file (it'll most likely be called something like modname.preferences.cfg) in the mod directory and open it in Notepad. Then find the line that says something like "event_cutscenes = 0" and change the 0 to a 1. At least if I'm understanding your problem correctly

Found it, edited it, and it works like a charm. Thanks Surgeon!

God i hate those mid battle animations, specially as a cavalry charge comes out the gate and smashes your ram troopers haha whilst your trying to manouver the army

There's just something gratifying about watching the cut-scene of an enemy king being killed...
It can, however, be annoying; in this case, the good far outweighs the bad though
