Ichnusa. A land still shrowded with mystery, where the punics settled only withing the coasts and the traces of a fallen bronze age major power are still evident despite a cataclysmic tsunami.

Even the romans had to make 4 campaigns and to enslave a large share of the native population to take a real control of the place, making "Sardus venales" a common phrase to describe Sardinian slaves in Rome.

What leaves a bad taste in my mouth is to see the takeover of Sardinia like a walk in the park, where you can land half stack in Olbia, cross untouched Barbagia, the wildest and most unaccessible part of the island, finally taking a lightly defended Karalis in a breeze...

As EB is universally known to strive for maximum realism I would like to ask to the team if they can make the conquest of Sardinia less of a pushover, so that you can't just take 2 units of hastati and conquer the whole place...

I'm not going to tell you how to do what you do best so I'll just give a few names in case you have some ideas for that area

Major settlements in Sardinia were:

- Turris (Torres), in the north/northwestern coast

- Tharros, central western coast

- Tiscali, in the mainland, just a bit on the eastern side, central sardinia

- Nukor, more or less in the same zone, but slightly northwest of Tiscali
