how do i influence my generals?
ive seen alot of posts about people surgesting about using generals with certain traits, is there anyway i can influence how generals get these traits
ive been targeted by the inquisition and dispite the preists traveling with my generals and all the churches and what not, their piety is extremely low

Your generals increase in piety by building churches, hiring priests and staying at a settlement with a church or better. They won't increase in piety by having priests travel with them.

Yup Painter is right and if you totally do it right like then i think we get a epithet like the Pious or something if i remember correctly.
But like traits and ancs are like things that are random and one can only know if he is a veteran player.

If you find yourself with too many priests in pursuit of religion, or spies or diplomats for that matter, that are being a drain on your treasury, you could always send them on a nice Mediterranean cruise vacation in search of pirate treasure and sunken ships.

Painter you're brilliant! I do this with generals I don't like, but never thought to do it with agents I don't like or need! D'oh!
