No Stars for the MVP? :P
I have a situation:
Genralless army kicks butt, and the MVP gets his "Man of the Hour" recognition.
I approve him, he get installed to the family under the royal grandson, and I put him to work immediately.
With a weaker army i have him take a settlement defended by a 8 star rebel general. He gets no Stars for his success. Hmmmm...
I send him on a crusade to Cordoba where he handilly smashes the residents and achieves the crusade. NO STARS.....
The man is now resplendent with traits, ancillarties, and maximum chivalry, but not a single star. Any notions why? I always took stars or no-stars without much concern, but this defies my base assumptions as to how they are awarded. Any ideas? He came to me with a sum of +3 for generalship traits, and negged out -3 because he is a Governor. Okay... so what about since then? All i get are circumstantial trait modifiers vs. pagans etc.
The only two things I've done that were in any way 'different' is that I've maintained his honor by not sacking or exterminating or chasing down. And I held back to let an ally take the brunt of the beating in Cordoba (but still charged into the square to mop up.).
What must I do to get him pumped up?It seems dreaded bastards have it much easier....

Make sure DLV is correctly. I noticed that there wasn't quite something right like your situation, and i noticed alot of the DLV files were blocked. You have to right click the unzip/install files and unblock them, give full admin rights to the files and folders, and only then will DLV work correctly
