    Default How to overclock?

    Can a mod close this thread please. Ive just found it its not worth OCing a laptop because of heat issues.

    Erm, not sure if chipset matters but, typically, you go into bios and change the FSB Frequency. As you get into the higher speeds, you'll want to increase your voltage too. But as you said, as far as I know also, laptops are doomed to stock hs/f and TIM, so I wouldn't worry about it.
