For your amusement, Comrade jangles brings to you, the good people of TWC, the most hilarious list of adjectives yet to be penned in the english language.

An official list, per Wikipedia, of all of the titles and appellations Kim Jong Il has held in the DPRK over the years. He's going to need a 100ft golden plaque on his mausoleum to hold them all. I wonder if the Pharoahs held this many titles? The Roman Emperors certainly didn't.

In view of our divine essence, we need only liberty and work; in view of our mortal nature, we need for our direction a guide and a support. A government is not then, as a distinguished economist has said, a necessary ulcer; it is rather the beneficent motive power of all social organisation.

They're a poetic lot, those Koreans.

Personal favourites are "Socialist Scion of the Sun God" and "Swallow-bourne Prince of Twin Rainbows"

I would KILL to have titles like those.

I love how humanity though that supreme leaders being revered on a godlike status was a thing of the middle ages.

Look at us now, 600 years later and we(as humas) still can't beat divine mandate.

I'm told all these titles are a typically Confucian phenomenon. Not that it somehow excuses it, but I guess it's a cultural thing as well as a product of the Wonderkim cult.

I don't, no brain can be that ''washed''

It's quite clear that spontaneous revolution is a necessity yet their social psychology plays against them.

Some of those titles are lost in translation, but ad companies must dearly love to employ the guys who thought up those titles.
