    Default graphical error

    Hello,

I recently downloaded the mod because it looks like a fun mod to play. However when I go to play it, I get a strange graphical error. It seems that there is white on most of the options and I can't select any option as a response. I am using windows 7, and I have the Steam version maybe that is the reason why? I am not quite sure what the issue is though.

here is a screenshot to better represent what I am trying to say.

    Sincerely,

    herkles

I remember seeing a thread with a similar problem but I cannot find it. I also use Steam on win7 and everything works fine. It might be fixed by reinstalling the mod and patch. If you do that look up threads for uninstalling DLV just incase there is anything specific to be done.

Think you can just delete the folder and any desktop icon.

I had the same problem as you a week ago!
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=400792

First download the the ui.zip file from this thread
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=219297 (its at the bottom of the first post).

Then you put the UI file inside your medieval II total war folder inside data,
So, C:\Program Files \Sega\Medieval II Total War\data\ui (If there's no UI directory, make it yourself and make sure all 3 sd files are inside it.

If this doesn't work, go to

    D:\Games\Medieval Total War II\data\ui
(Same thing if the UI file is not there, make a new directory and put the 3 sd files)

Make sure you put the UI file in the data file of your medieval total war II game, don't put it inside the mod data.

    Hope this helps!

    Edit:

I see you are using the steam version, SO AM I! Just put the UI files in your C:\Program Files \STEAM\Common\Medieval II Total War\data\ui (Again if there's no ui file there, make your own directory and put in the sd files.)
