Cant Play Medieval 2 1.05 vanilla and a wierd background with a hussar(???)on menu

So here's the thing, I cant play the MTWII kingdoms vanilla(1.05) because everytime i open it it loads at the start but when the loading is complete the game crashes (black screen, cant go back to desktop). So I tried the shortcut for MTWII 1.03(I dunno if theres supposed to be 2 shortcuts once you have kingdoms)It actually worked but something is bothering me on the background; instead of the marching army on the menu, the pic is a hussar charging (I think) an east european spear militia.

I dont know if this could add to the details but before that happened, I used the unpacker BUT i changed the unpackers path to a backup folder(because I'm trying to mod ). And I also installed the "mod folder installer ". But I already deleted em' all after the crashes. Sorry for this noob mistake. I hope you got any ideas...

Are you trying to start kingdoms.exe by clicking it or are you tring to start one of the campaigns?

It's been so long since I played vanilla I don't have a clue what vanilla's starting movie is.

Delete the .cfg file in your Main Medieval 2 directory. Your movies are disabled so that would fix the hussar thing.
