Hi All!

I've recently begun a "Let's Play" series of this extraordinary mod on youtube! Honestly, I had always wanted to try this mod, but never got around to it. However, many of my viewers implored me to give it a shot, and I'm very glad I did! Me too. I really like'd it so far.

Edit: A tip, you need to move your cavalry further away from the enemy you are trying to charge if you want a successful charge. You will notice that they ride in to the enemy with their spears already lowered during a successful charge.

And always shift charge when using cavalry. Use lower unit size, Huge is too clumsy for maneuvers(how the hell did i speel that i dont know...)And remember stheir slingers can beat your equitesi n hand to hand

I always click once and then the run button when charging. I think it was Tone who told me that.
And no don't downsize from huge. It far to awesome to play on any other setting.

Haha. The campaign has been started on huge! There is no turning back now! But, thanks a ton for the tips re: slingers and equites, and how to charge properly. I'll do my best to incorporate them in the next videos (Although old habits die hard)!

EDIT: a bit of advice, you can turn of the annoying green arrows and unit flags in the preferences file. It will make your videos look much nicer and the battles will look more realistic.

I think the point is that he would like to discover the game by himself rather than follow a guide.

Yeah, I browsed the guide a little bit, but it isn't the play style I'm crazy about (He gets beaten back pretty hard, and then rises again). There are, however, some great general tips and it makes the game seem less overwhelming, but I'm a stubborn guy, and I like to discover things, good or ill, for myself!

Imperator_OfRome: I'm doing two other mod LP's at the same time, so updates will happen probably once a week, perhaps a little faster. New Roma Surrectum is coming down the pipeline today, however (Eg: I'll play and record some of it today, but it may still be a day or so to edit and upload)!
