I had to use an extracting programme for this patch because none that i downloaded could be used with a normal programme, i installed the standard game patch okay but when it came to kingdoms this message came up

What are trying to say?
-You download the patch it's probably compressed in a .rar file.
-Use Win Rar to open it and click on setup.exe to install the patch.
^Is this what you are doing?

I have peazip to extract the files and then install it but when i tried to on the kingdoms one it came up with that message :s isnt there a patch you can download that is already an setup.exe file?

You use Winrar or 7zip, it does have a setup.exe inside it.
