Quick question about pre-battle

I seem to remember vaguely about a way to view unit stats....such as attack/def, before the battle starts. Meaning before you hit begin battle, and while you are deploying.

Does anyone know the key combo for this one? I have done a search and was unable to come up with any results in the forum.

I have been trying to produce the results in the field and was wondering if maybe it was a feature taken out of the M2 original release with patches and/or expansion pack.

Right click on the enemy general's portrait on the battle deployement window, then click again on any of his unit card.

I'm not sure about pre-battle, but after you click the begin battle, you may pause the battle and then double click on any identified unit and it will show you the unit's stats. I assume during deployment and if you can see the enemy, you could again double-click to view that unit's stats.

Before you begin the battle you can right click on the enemy general pic to view his army and right click on each unit to view the stats.
During deploying, you can only view your own units stats by right clicking on the card.
During battle you can view your enemy unit stats by selecting nothing and right click on enemy unit on the field.
