AI ever reached the Americas?

In my GC whoever I play as, I am the always the only one to reach the Americas. And even then the Aztec's don't seem to bother to train any more men other than royalty so it soon becomes very easy.

Has anyone had an AI also sail over before or after them and conquer the Americas? I'm playing on Hard/Hard btw

IIRC, there is a mod, that can do that, even the Aztec can invade Europe/Africa.

I've seen England do it before, by accident though. I attacked one of their ships outside of Portugal and they retreated to the new world lol. They stuck around there and even though they had troops with their navy the never landed there, just kinda explored.

I'd assume it'd happen eventualy, after hundreds of thousands of years. Maybe someone with waaaay too much time on his hands could migrate to the New World and just click end turn endlessly untill somethin happens.

During my first ever Campaign, I got an announcement saying the America's were discovered. I was too busy as I was about to complete my short campaign as the English to care. I'm not sure which faction discovered it though, I believe it was probably Spain.

I really ignored the Video because I too busy besieging Marsielle. After I won my English campaign, I moved on to a Spanish one, though I didn't go as well because during the later period I was obsessed with reaching the Americas.

I was playing as the Scots, and basically it was constant battle with the English. I never really expanded any further then York or the Castle in Wales (this was on Very hard). Anyway when I finally built an Carrack I sent the ship to the New World. The English had complete control over the sea so I had to make a huge break through the ships that swapped Northern Scotland. Unfortunately when I was battling their ships I saw one of their Carracks with an army sailing for the New World. When I reached their they already took North America.

The Medieval 2 AI is not capable of reaching the Americas due to the large gap, no custom AI is also able to achieve it.

The only way is through a script like in my mod if Spanish and Portuguese are AI then they will reach the Americas. When playing as them then Hernan cortez emerges and then is told about blah blah and its player's wish to go take him himself.

I wonder what the best thing is to do with the Americas. The only time I got there, I made trade rights with e Aztecs, and just sent merchants there. Though I might have made more money by taking the places and converting all castles to towns. Since apparently the AI does come there sometimes, I guess they wouldn't come i force? If I had a faction with a good garrison like musketeers or at least pavise crossbow militia, I wouldn't likely need any castles.

I have never seen any AI faction make it to the Americas, even after they have access to Carracks and I have discovered the place.
But that is probably because I´m usually too big and powerful for them to spare any troops on something like that.

I suppose that, if I were to wait for a number of years, they would eventually venture there, although it would be too late
(I would already have taken it - I don ´t give any pardon to the Aztecs. Last time I did that, I lost an entire Battery)

True, it may have something to do with money and troops they have to spare. In my game I was happy to sit in the British Isles as England and wait. However the traitorous French attacked me and I own all settlements from Brittamy to Holland on that stretch of coast aswell as Crusading bases in Cyprus and Antioch to fight the Trimurids.
At the moment only the Mongols have the cash to follow me but they're too far away.

That mod looks nice, but they wont travel between America and Europe I think, and Hernan Cortez isnt enough to defeat those Aztecs... (5 or 6 stacks vs. 1)

Not only have I never seen an AI hitting the New World, I have never seen an AI carrack...
