Cant install

When i put in third disc it says it cant find the sfx.dat verify that it exists and try again.
Has the coices rety and cancel. I press retry about five times now.

Is your 3rd disk clean ( no dust , no scratches , etc ) ? Because if the other 2 work , you can exclude an dvd/cd drive problem , or cable problem . Also , if it persist but you have a legit copy of RTW ( Eras , Gold, etc ) , get one copy from the internet that comes up as a dvd - all 3 disk compiled into one . So you can use your cd-key to play online if you like .

No it isn't got scratches galore but so do the others. What do you mean get a copy from the internet?

Which version of RTW?

Regular vanilla by itself. I have RTW on steam if that might be preventing it.

EDIT: Just had an idea. Move stuff from the steam folder to the rtw folder. TRied it. Says sfx (2).dat and theres the one from the disc getting installed. It shows the sfx.dat and it says it cant find it. WTF??

sounds 2 on disc 3 is not readable... nooooooooo.
To bad it's illegal to give that up, Dam. Haha great timing just used all my money to buy assasins creed 1 and 2.
