Unpacker.exe is not working!

I am not able to unpack my files with the unpacker! I am using a downloaded version of medieval 2 gold edition and I have the two dll files placed in the unpacker folder. The error message is attached to the post. I am so fustrated at the moment, please help me!

Assuming Win 7 or Vista, have you disabled the UAC?

also how much free harddisk space do you have?

I have xp and I have 18 gb free

Then the packs are corrupted. Try reinstalling and doing it, again.

I have uninstalled it twice, maybe I need to uninstall it as well as delete any leftover files in the folder?

okay, I just tried it, and I am still getting that error!

Run the unpacker as an Admin and see if it works then.

Try to free up some more harddrive space, then. 18gb isn't much.

I think 18GB is more than enough Sir Ron coz extracted vanilla takes likes 11.7GB as i see it in my hard drive though expansions requires more including vanilla.

I am thinking it is try ing to make a temp file to unpack it in, then move it. If you ever watched it, it does it in a certain order and the world and blockset files grow tremendously. I might be wrong but if the download works, it would be next in this old skull.

It could be lack of ram, too.

I have to agree w/irish that this could be a RAM issue. 18 Gigs is enough to write to.

@warman222 - could you give us your system specs via DirectX? It might help solidify a few problems here. Good luck!
