Medieval 2 Total War forum questions compilation

There won't be much right now, but i'll be compiling a massive list of questions that people ask on here and storing them in this thread so people can find what they want without making a thread on it. For now though, maybe you guys could come up with some that I can add?

I'll be simply copying questions from previous threads rather than coming up with my own, to make it easier to browse through i'll shorten some of them so they're more directly to the point.

Strategy map questions
Q: I'm playing Kingdoms and I have read that you can rename cities in the amrica campaign. I'm playing as new spain and really want to do this. does anyone know how to?
A: This can be done with both Kingdoms and regular M2TW; double click on a settlement, scroll towards the name, left click and change it to anything you want.

Q: Is it possible to make the Papal States your vassal, assuming they've only got Rome?
A: It's possible to do so regardless of how many settlements they have, and this applies for all factions.

Q: I am having a great problem with princesses. When I checked my agents there are no princesses. I looked at my family tree there are alot of unclickable female icons well over 30 years old. Is it some sort of bug I am unaware of?
A: Only princesses related to the royal bloodline can be used as agents - any other princesses are just characters that you can marry off to your generals.

Not frequently asked questions, just asked questions so it'll just be a massive database of questions people have asked over time. I would have to check for duplicates and it would have to be formatted in to certain categories to make browsing it easier but I can imagine it would be quite helpful.
