Massive lag came out of nowhere

Hi. A few months ago I used to play N:TW just fine on very high settings. Today I re-downloaded it and battles became unplayable (and I'm not picky.. When I mean unplayable, I mean not-above-5fps) due 2 ridiculous lag.. I have no idea from where this came, but I recently installed a few DLC's (they're overpriced, btw)..

Oh, and btw, turning down graphics does absolutely... NOTHING. Very low graphics give around same lag as very high.

Maybe this game got bugged and started to only use 1 of my 4 CPU's cores or something??

Help?

PS. My system should for sure be able to play N:TW. I played E:TW recently just fine, no lag.
Ati 4770. I downloaded a driver from steam a month ago.. Didn't seem to do anything negative. But then I searched this forum, and found out that 10.9 is bugged or something?? Strange, cause it works fine with E:TW!

Have you uninstalled your RealTek audio drivers if you have them?

no, but I disabled the ati sound drivers.. I think...

10.9 is not bugged. Maybe it installed wrong however.
Try uninstalling it via Control panel -> Programs and features and select express uninstall all ATI software. Thereafter re-download and install the latest ATI drivers from amd.com

Yeah, trust me it is bugged. I reinstalled 10.5 and it works fine now. Pretty annoying though..
