I am a bit surprised to see a lot of asimetry here:
    1) Most of the threads in the "Ethos, Mores and Monastica" are about atheists bashing the Christian faith. The Christians seem to have a long fuse () and they usualy don't explode into asking those threads to be closed.
    2) While Muslims can preach Islam in the Christian countries and find converts there (like in the cartoon ), most of the Muslim countries are closed to Christian missionaries and in some (not all) Muslim countries converting Muslims to another religion is a capital ofense.

Isn't it time for Muslims, at least for those on TWC, to learn the virtues of the right to free speach?!

Eh? I've never had a Muslim knock on my door, offer me 'free' stuff (as long as I donate some cash.. the last guy who offered my free stuff was mighty unhappy when I didn't donate.) and try to engage me in a conversation about my beliefs. Isn't it time for christian missionaries to learn the virtues of freedom of religeon, freedom of thought and freedom from bible thumpers disturbing my weekends?!

Needless to say (but I will) I dislike missionaries intensly.

Your free to close the door on their face or not answer the door or tell them to go away hell your free to open the door and start screaming at them how dumb their religion is how foolish and stupid they are to believe in an invisible figure...just as they are free to knock on your door A rather big difference imo.

I can see how that could be entertaining to the to the lobotomised Christian zealot, but I find it quite distressing. Oh well, freedom of speech/expression and such I guess...

Its got a distinctly christian theme, thats why I would guess christian zealots would find it the most amusing. Though other groups could join in the fun I suppose. Maybe I did take it too seriously, the Christians here seem to be whining all the time, it must be contagious. Anyhoo Merry Christmas!

From the top of my head, it was during christmas, in a christian environment, and also the bit right at the end.

Thats what happens when you are shown to believe everything thinks exactly the same.
