    Default icons move too fast

My character/unit icons are suddenly moving very quickly after a movement order has been given them on the campaign map. How do i change this? I have not adjusted any settings and now after 30 turns of a normal walk they now run!

Double clicking or pressing spacebar when they are moving does that. Not sure if there is a thingie in the options, but i don't think so

You just press spacebar - both to speed up movement on the campaign map and to slow it down to "normal".

I almost always keep it at this high-speed, because I´m too impatient for their regular pace...

There is an option to show movement or not show it. Spacebar can toggle the movement speed, as has been mentioned.

Isn't that the movement of AI characters when you end your turn?

Thanks, I will try the space bar.
