Fixed the NTW not loading / launching trouble

Irishron, and all the other fine folks that have had their input on how to get NTW to launch, I say many thanks to you. I recently reformatted my computer, and once downloaded NTW, it would not start. I researched these pages for 3 days, trying virtually everything that Irishron said to try.
1st, I ran dxdiag, and saved it to my desktop, I noticed I had xp sp2. So I went to microsoft.com, and downloaded all updates (77 of them). Then I tried to launch NTW after confirming game cache, to no avail..it would not launch. I then reinserted my Motherboard CD, and it downloaded a few things to my computer, like may surround sound and what not. I re check game cache files, and tried to launch NTW again......still no love. Then I went directly to Microsoft, and downloaded .4 net farmework, still no love.

Then I got to looking at my dxdiag, and noticed an WHQL(something like "windows quality lab" or something), that was unsigned by microsoft. As it was under the section "display drivers", i mistakenly thought it was my Directx, so i reinstalled Direct x from the link supplied by Irishron...(Thank you kind sir!), re checked integrity of game cache...still no love.

Then I looked again, at the dxdiag, and thought maybe video card drivers, which I thought were up to date.....Went to Nvidia.com, looked for the latest version of drivers for my card....and WALA!!!!

In like Flynn in 10 seconds flat!

This was all because of the unending, kind, considerate and informative advise given by Irishron, and others. To you all, I give a resounding thank you, for alleviating my extreme frustration. Cheers, and happy hunting.

So, you fixed it by updating your video card driver? Doesnt work for me
