And if you are playing a faction too far from there? That's the case: a wise human player could stop them, or weaken them enough. But if the player can't for geographical reasons, or other, the imperial AI will probably be overrun.
My beef with the Orcs is that for the Waaagh! they're in, killing their faction leader has way too little impact, it should cripple them far more. I know that they lose all savage Orcs when the leader is killed, but around turn 50-60 when they're rampaging trough Ostermark, Sylvania and Chaos territory, savage Orcs probably account for less than a percent of their military force.
By the way, does anybody know what happened to the Kislev war wagons?
Actually, nevermind, I think they just forgot to put a bunch of stuff at the list. I mean, we know there is Bugman's Rangers and the Great Barrel of Beer, and there was talk of spider riders.

The team has beta testers that probably managed to survive the invasion. They wouldnt release the mod if it would be impossible to beat the invaders. Seriously guys, this is the kind of complaint that should be saved for after the release.

Also Sylvania (Undeads FTW!), but as long as the Imperials serve as bait for Orcs & Chaos... that's fine with me.
EDIT: my real concerns about 1.4:
- NO MORE BUGS during AI Turn! It ruined ALL my campaigns!
- Better music for Sylvania. I loathe disco.
Thirteen groups of orcs that's not a lot. In my computer AI did not have much trouble with them. Yes, Ostermark fell, Averland had trouble. But that was it. And as I stepped into the fight ...
On the battlefield, this is just stupid, the computer AI. I do not have to have super units to beat them.
It is quite easy as the storm of chaos. But I know - different people are differently gifted.
I fit the difficulty level. If someone does not ... let it just fall at home.
Well. I am afraid of 13 stacks too. I mean really, how do you defeat them if there are NO MORE cannon towers and Halberdiers have been nerfed/maybe removed!
well if your that worried just increase the halberdiers to the same strength they were in 1.3![]()

in the novel "Empire in chaos", a large zerg of greenskin (several hundred of thousands warriors) invaded the empire and many provinces has fallen (like Ostermark or Stirland...) so it can happens...![]()

why not use daemon prince skaven units in some limited fashion? Like to spawn in special stacks under beastman faction.

If i may come with a whish to the developers, could you make, for one-off multiplayer battles so that each faction type (ie orcs highelves dark elves and such) has four factions to play?
so that for example, a game of 8 players can be between 4 empire players and 4 orc players?
it would keep the theme alot better than people being forced to take chaos, undead or other nasties...
