As always, i say: better see a stable release next year than a bugged one now. Keep fixing, men.

Great preview, this mod will definitively become the best for the 2011 competition.

I believe both are in version 1.4, but I'm not 100% sure.

When this mod was starting to get some fame a few years ago, you used almost only models and textures from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos. Not only do I think that it is wrong to use those models in general, they also look really bad IMO. But now it seems you're working on new models and textures for all units. This is great, and your new high elves looks gorgeous, I must say. I really approve dumping those really ugly MoC-high elves. Good job guys.

Really? I'm pretty sure you guys did. I remember it clearly, since it caused quite a debate. I was in another warhammer mod at the time, so I did read a lot about this mod. But it was a few years ago. I haven't checked on the mod since then. Have you been a part of the team since this mod started? Maybe they got rid of the MoC-stuff before you joined or something.

There seems to be a few issues I need to clear up:

It is true that this mod did use some models from Mark of Chaos, but you need to understand two things before making unwise comments:

    1) Very few of the models in the earliest forms of the mod were Mark of Chaos models. Most of them were created by the team and animated by the team. They used some Mark of Chaos models as bases, but even those were heavily modified to the point where they were completely different from the Mark of Chaos models except maybe in looks, but that is it (you can only go so far in making the same thing look different without going overboard).

    2) This mod has created much more custom content than many viewers care to realise. Just because some of the units look the same as the Mark of Chaos models, that doesn't mean they are from Mark of Chaos. I mean, going by your accusations, if they did use only models from Mark of Chaos, then how did they make Kislev, the Dwarves, the Vampire Counts, most, if not all, of the Demons of Chaos? They created them like they did with the other factions.

The other warhammer mod which was started by Bwian flamed this mod and used this mod's alpha models as "bad examples" while boasting about their own. That in itself is extremely disrespectful and that was very wrong of them to do that (much like comparing TATW and CoW, only much worse). Luckily it only went as far as that. I have yet to see this mod post anything negative about any other mod out there (not implying that TATW did) and the moderators are very kind once you get to know them. It's those who post comments insistent on promoting things this team is not guilty of that the team gets angry at.

So please, everybody, enough bashing this mod. As I said before, constructive critisim comments are allowed and are very much acceptable. Posts on false accusations and any other comments deamed to be malicious in intent will be removed and deleted. I have been very leanient thus far, but if this keeps up I may have to change that. That is something that I hope doesn't have to happen, but if it will benefit this thread, I fear I will have to do so.

I apologize to those that have posted comments that were misunderstood by both the CoW team and I and I appreciate those who have supported this mod from the very beginning and those who have become fans recently.

This is my final warning and I pray that I don't have to enforce any of the above regulations anytime soon.

Cursed Company (of course Krueger too) :

    Grudgebearer and Morgan Bernhardt :

-Commander Bernhardt leads a mercenary army called "The Grudgebringers", named after his magical flame sword, the Grudgebringer.
Bernardt and his army defeated Grey Seer Thanquol in a plot to use ancient Elven stones to destroy the lands of men and later quelled an invasion of the Undead into the Old World by destroying the Dread King.

Other quote from other article : Meanwhile to the north within the boundaries of the Empire, mercenary commander Morgan Bernhardt is defending a small Imperial trading post from attack by Goblins, with the help of his former mentor Klaus Zimmermann. The mercenary army is soon recalled to the Imperial capital city of Altdorf in the Reikland where they are told that Orcs are invading the Empire from the south.

    Best quote about them :

Commander Morgan Bernhardt founded the Mercenary Army from just a single unit of horsemen. They were named after their Commander's powerful sword 'Grudgebringer'. By acquiring and fulfilling deeds for the barons of the Empire the Grudgebringers became more renowned and were feared by most of their enemies. As word of the Grudgebringers spread through the realms, more units came and fought along side Morgan. Dwarves from the Mountain Realms, Elves from Ulthuan and Freelance Militiamen from the Empire all pledged their allegiance to the commander in return for Wealth, Glory and Adventure.

Commander Morgan Bernhardt sadly died aged 37 on the battlefields of the Chaos Wastelands. All was not lost however, The Thane of the Dwarven Unit, who had aided Bernhardt for many years was to step up as commander and continue the commanders will. His name was Ungrun Dragonbane, Leader of the forces of Zufbar. And to this very day Ungrun has continued the Grudgebringers tradition. Long live the Grudgebringers!

    Van Klampf :

I cannot understand why the hell everyone keep flaming this mod -.- it's fantastic and I can say that even if everyone of my campaigns crashed I enjoyed them a lot and they gave to me much hours of funny . I can say that who's flaming here about the bugs and the models cannot even understand how much work and passion the modders put into this mod . And I am surprised they keep working hard for a mass of disrespectful people.

However there are much thankful people that respect the team and keep following you, so I can just say keep up the astounding work!
