back playing RTR
Hey all, I've been playing MTW2 for some a year or so and have gotten bored with it. So, I decided to load up my old friend Rome Total Realism. My question is, Is there anything new that has come out mod wise or patch wise that I need to download to update it. I am using RTRPE 1.9 I believe. I keep seeing some thread things about RTR VII or something, so is that a new edition that's being worked on or has come out. Something I need to check out?
Thanks for the answers.

If you are looking for the old style RTR you should check the Extended realism subforum they are improving the RTR platinum, if you are looking for something new then the you can download the FOE etc.

In the stickied thread ''All you need to know'' there are links to a FAQ where your question is answered. Besides that, you'll find links to all possible info about RTR VII there.

Re: back playing RTR
Any new patches or anything that I need to get the newest mods up and working? Do the new ones have .exe files to install. I'm not that computer literate so it is really helpful to me if I can just double click and have everything take care of itself without having to copy over files etc. Again, thanks for the info and I'm really looking forward to getting back into my Rome phase. I loved this game to begin with and I truly missed playing it at times.

The OP for all of the mods should say whether or not it is in .exe install or not
